Vid card question

I just noticed that the fan on my GPU doesn't spin at all. I know I checked it when I first installed it 1 month ago, but now I noticed it doesn't turn at all. I haven't had any problems (there's a slot cooler in there and a 80mm fan pointing at it) but now I'm worried. It got really hot just while idling.

I'd return it to Newegg but I have a soft mod-able Saphire 9500 n/p and I'm really thrilled with the performance. do you guys think it's likely that it has overheated enough to cause damage? (it still runs alright) should I just return it, or would I be better off to just keep the card and get a new heatsink and fan?

thanks for the recommendation for the iceberg. do you know where I can find a review for it and other coolers? I'd like to go for an upgrade so long as I have to do this.

the card has been taken out of action until a replacement is found. nonetheless.

anybody else have a favorite vid-card cooler?

If it's under warranty, call up Sapphire and just ask for a new fan, it can't hurt.

Yeah, try to get warranty coverage. That tends to be much more free than store-bought replacements. good luck!
