Hey all... I am new here and need some help. I am looking to get a new Video Card - looking to stay around $160 or so... Has to be AGP because my MoBo is too old to have PCIX and I dont have the money to buy a new MoBo and Processor and a new Vid card...

Any ideas??? I have heard about the ATi x700 Pro ; ATi x1300 Pro ; and x700pro

Any other ideas??
 
For a budget that low I like to look at top of the line cards from previous generations... like a 9800XT. You won't get the latest feature sets like SM 3.0, but SM 2.0 and SM 1.1 performance will be superior to a budget card from the current generation.
 
6800's can be had in the 170 to 200 range on the forums here.

Check that out.

Sometimes even AGP X800's go as low as 200.
