"Byron Burkhart, 29, is accused of pulling up alongside a vehicle and firing eight shots into the car while driving on the Sierra Highway in Lancaster on Friday, the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office said."

"The victim vehicle's camera allegedly captured Burkhart's vehicle's license plate during the incident, prosecutors said."

Road ragers are one of the many reasons I'm so glad I work from home. I've driven with a road-raging coworker (once) and it's unbelievable how angry some people can get when they can't pass people on a crowded city road, gaining them a whole 30 ft and saving them 2 seconds off their drive time. That dude was let go years ago and it wouldn't surprise me to find he ended up shooting someone like in this story.
