Vicodin.. very addictive, but man this stuff is good.

Bah it's alright, and was a a big part back in my recreational pain-killing days, but alas opiates are addictive as hell and expensive, so you are best off staying away, FAR away.

That said, methadone > * (unless you get into IV in which case you are just asking to fvck your life over)

Methadone's are great. Back in my party days I took 3 of them and a couple beers at about 7 in the evening, and then next day when I got up to go to my 2 o'clock class I was still leaning hard. Good stuff, but I bet it can get addicting as hell.

No, I don't usually go to doctors for anything unless it was serious.
I was in so much pain because of the infection that I almost went to the emergency room . Everytime I swallowed, the pain would just jolt through my body. I explained to the doctor and she understood.


 
The wife was prescribed Vicodin after her C-section when our son was born. I knocked back a few on occasion once she healed up and still had some left, and actually did take a couple for an incredible back spasm I had one night just so I could get to sleep.

Nice little pleasant "warm and fuzzy" feeling, and it's easy to see how people get hooked on it.
 
First time I took it some kid gave me 4 in 2nd period and I took them all. Interesting day because the little bastard told everyone I was on it and my hippy teacher laughed at me

Sounds like me. Hadn't been to the doctor in over 4 years, but I got a killer ear/upper respiratory infection last October. The car ride to the doctor's office was like someone digging inside of my head with a knife, stabbing harder with every bump in the road.
They didn't prescribe me any painkillers though, the bastards. So I just used mother nature's remedy (which oddly enough was probably cheaper) and it got me by until the antibiotics did the trick.
 
What about Cafergot? Oxycontin? Or even Duragesic which is a transdermal pain patch.

Those three are heavy duty...

 
I recently had some dental work done, and OTC drugs just wern't doing it for the pain. I had a bottle of vicodin left over from a surgery I had last year, so I took one....Nice...the pain finally went away. I proceeded to take them regularly for about 3 days, then I stopped.

I Literally had a hangover from the stuff. The 4th night, I slept from 8PM to 1PM the next afternoon. And I have felt like crap ever since. Wicked stuff
 
my roomate broke his arm in a weird place last year and got percs for the pain... we used to pop a couple and smoke a doob to relax but it never really did much othre than make my body feel kinda relaxed and numbish... :roll:
 
I had my first ever attack of gout on Tuesday. My doctor gave me vicodin, 500mg tablets. If I take one I feel nothing, it doesn't touch the pain and I don't feel "high". If I take 2 of them, I fall asleep. No "high" feelings again.

Vicodin sucks. So does gout. 🙁

Exactly! But still too expensive, and that one 10mg would turn into 2 quickly then on it would go.

Vicodin doesn't do anything unless you eat at least 3.. And they need to be pretty stron as well.. ( ES ) 700mg or something..

they aren't expensive when your source is someone who had 100% benefits with the VA and they keep sending them to that person even though they requested they stop sending them... and all they do is flush them down the toilet when they come in since they don't use them...
