Is this a normal dosage? Ive taken two of these as directed and it didnt even take an edge off my pain.

This ia a bad place to ask for such critical advice. Please consult your doctor.

Yeah it is... what pain is it you're trying to control? When I first had surgery on my wrist after breaking it, they gave me 2 percocet and a double shot of demeral and it didn't even touch it for close to 45 minutes. How long a go did you take them?

booze will help it work better, but its not exactly the healthiest thing you can do for your body or mind.

This poster may of meant this as a jokle. But please, no alcohol. Tylenol and alcohol is a recipe for disaster. Narcotics affect everyone differently. I'm amazed at how people describe what these drugs do to them. Doctors have told me that they all affect different people differently.

yup, normal dosage. For the first 2 weeks after knee surgery they did absolutely NOTHING for me.

Week 3, I took a 2 maybe every other day when the pain was bad. I was floatin' on air :p

I took one of those for some oral surgery and I couldn't get out of the bed. The world was spinning in 12 dimensions.

They won't completely deaden the pain but should diminish it somewhat. You may just be in too much pain to notice at the time but the effect should be pretty quick and noticeable. But as said before, different drugs affect people differently so they may not be the right choice for you.
