A judge? He probably won't have much to say, except, "-ere! *cough cough*"

hahahah poor guy. when it rains it pours.

he also has the state after him (wich i think would put him in double jepardy eh?)

wonder if he had a water bottle with him?

The state is bringing very specific charges against Vick as to try to avoid anything related to double jeopardy.

hmm ok.

seems crappy to me though. but i can understand it.

It's not crappy, it's the way the country works. The government is an over-arching body concerned with items that affect the whole country. Thus, the federal charges were for interstate commerce and other items.

The state has individual state laws that are up to the state government to impose and enforce.

The Feds have their own charges and the state has others. He will be rightfully charged with both.

Why? If anything, I'd say it's easier to get into trouble with more money just because if you do something, you're more likely to get caught because people have their eyes on you.

Ricky Williams is a Saint compared to this guy...poor Ricky just couldn't stop smokin the cheeba. They shoulda just let him smoke, not like it's a performance enhancing drug, he was an amazing reciever high or not. I think I read that he actually went to do botanical studies at some university :p

That and he majored in Elementary Education at UT.

As for Vick, it was a bonehead move, but with all the trouble he's in, it's like a drop in the bucket.

Actually, Ricky WAS a Saint. Then he was a Dolphin. Then he got suspended from the NFL and can't get back in. It's absolutely ironic that he lives in Grass Valley, California.

From the article on Fox Sport today:

The 27-year-old former Virginia Tech star was placed under pretrial release supervision by U.S. Magistrate Dennis Dohnal in July. The restrictions included refraining from use or unlawful possession of narcotic drugs or other controlled substances.

He was specifically told to refrain from using illegal substances as part of his pre trial release....

The government wants it to be.
Then they get to spend tons of money on enforcement that doesn't work.
But I digress before this turns into a P&N thread.

if people are going to be against weed, atleast know everything about it.... THC stays in the system 30 days....a lot longer if he tokes it up daily or large amounts..

him testing positive might have been from him smoking a while back...although i doubt that.

He'd have to be a damn near constant user for it to still be in his system from July.

For occasional users, it'll be out of the system within a week or two.
