Darn. I was hoping hed get the maximum.

Thats ok. His public image is basically ruined. I doubt he will be able to get on with another football team once he's out which means bye bye million dollar lifestyle.

Wrong. Someone will take a chance on him. If anything, Jerry Jones is salivating at the chance. He was with Tank Johnson.

last time i checked the cowboys had a mvp caliber qb who is young. why on earth would they sign vick

The animal lovers out there won't easily forget this. Vick didn't just receive 23 months. I don't doubt that he'll play somewhere, but many fans won't like it and will voice their opinion when the time comes.

Yeah, we're chomping at the bit to replace Romo here.

You are right, though. Someone will take a chance on him. What he lost was the value of that contract and what he currently had. That's massive, even if he can get another job in the NFL.

The sentence seems fair.

Close, you know that dude will make a book out of all of this. Probably the same publisher that Paris has.

What a pansy ass punishment. He's probably bitching about it, too.

I say beat him and put a collar on him, then make him fight other people in the same situation. Then kill him if he's not good enough at it.

 Did I say replace Romo? He won't be back as a QB.

Nah, he's destined for the Raiders. Al likes rubbing shoulders with the criminal element.

Man I can't believe some of you guys are complaining that it's too harsh. This is what's wrong with society. Everyone complains about how the rich and the famous get special treatment and then when they finally do get a reasonable sentence people are sympathetic to that. The man broke laws. Just because he was a leading NFL QB doesn't lessen the severity of that.

Not a chance. Vick isn't a QB that you can drop into any system. He essentially needs a team that's built around his style for him to be effective. No owner is going to take a chance on a quarterback like that with two years of rust on him. Besides, while he is an exceptionally talented athlete and he puts people in the seats he honestly isn't a very good quarterback.

He's not going to come back as a QB. He has the athletic abilities to play other positions.

Yeah, you're right. I wasn't thinking about that for some reason. Just woke up

Yeah, it's a huge fucking stretch to imagine he'd play the same position.

That sentence is a slap on the wrist. He should have gotten more. I hope that he never plays any pro sports again and is reduced to gigs on WWE like Pete Rose to make money. Vick's sentence should have included community service to be served at his local kennel.

Funny that out of all of the celebs, Michael Vick, the black one gets the most jailtime.

Possibly the worst application of the race card as of yet.
