Vick almost paid back 18 million in debt

I always rooted for the guy, even with his personal issues. Good to hear he actually paid his debts, and sounds like he's learned how to live within his means for the rest of his life. People have done worse than him and gotten seconds chances.

As far as his NFL career however --- he looks DONE. Not sure if its because the jets make everyone look terrible or what, but his play and body language have been slow, deliberate and uninterested. Just playing for the paycheck at this point. Maybe a new team next year will get him back in the game.

There are a lot of levels of "redemption". There's a big difference, IMO, between "I'm never going to own fighting dogs" and "Dog fighting disgusts me". When Vick is no longer playing in the NFL and no longer relying on his stardom to make money, do you think he'll never again attend a dog fight? I have my doubts.

WTF? No, what he did is the right thing to do. Let me guess who you voted for in the last presidential election.

Let me guess, when you pay your taxes, you think that your money is going to good use and you're doing your "civic" duty? Amirite?

The creditors can and will screw Vick if they get the chance. It's just business to them. Why can't Vick do the same if he gets the chance?

It's like these people are who underwater on their mortgages but continue paying because they feel they have a moral duty to instead of purposely going into foreclosure. Foreclosure and bankruptcy are part of the capitalist system. As long as you are not breaking the law, do it.

Corporations do it all the time:

Play by the same rules they play you by.

Look out for yourself and your family. Not some jerk in a board room.
