could we please stop the conservative love fest in here? you guys exaggerate everything - if anything cheney managed to go ahead in this debate only by a tiny margin. it still does not compare to the amount of pwnage that kerry dealt to bush last thursday. seriously, how could you not question bush's intelligence after seeing kerry dish it out to him and edwards and cheney go blow by blow tonight?

Don't know about you, but foxnews showed edwards getting smacked down. Cheney demonstrated power, and ability to think on his feet. Meanwhile Edwards doubted everything the Bush/Cheney ticket has ever done. Although it was difficult to make out what Edwards was saying other than "John Kerry and I have a plan........ We have a plan......"

WTF is the plan, Don't tell me you have a plan, explain the details of the plan.

iraq is a huge point

what cheney brought up: edward's senate attedance. personally I could care less
flip flopping. IMO JK had to flip flop because of the deep sh!t that the us is already in with respect to iraq. if he says that he doesnt agree with it, it will demoralize the troops, and us will be a laughing stock if indeed US pulls out of iraq

 
Edwards just kept regurgitating what Kerry said Thursday night. He really had a hard time with the question where he could not mention Kerry by name. I honestly believe he is in love with Kerry.

Actually, that is not a bad idea! President vs. potential VP and potential President vs. VP. Unfortunately, I think Edwards would win over Bush because as much as I support him, I cannot deny that he is a bad debater. When he's talking in front of a crowd, at their level, it works for him. When he's trying to join in political spin, he gets lost. Which is fine by me, we shouldn't be voting for a guy just because he sounds good *cough*clinton*cough*.

Sadly, Mr. Edwards couldn't even follow the rules of the debate. With the one question where they were not to mention the name of the Presidential candidate, John Edwards used John Kerry's name twice.

John Edwards is such a puppet of John Kerry. :roll:

It was during the last 10 minutes of the debate. Both Cheney and Edwards were to answer the question without using the name of their respective puppet masters. However, Edwards failed to followt the rule.

I liked the grin on Cheney's face when Edwards did it the 2nd time. You could almost read what Cheney was thinking. 🙂
