Who do you think is cooler/better/more kick ass/etc.

I never would have thought I would compare anyone to Jack Bauer after watching 24, but I had never caught an episode of the shield but always wanted to. After watching S1 on the plane on my trips to/from Nicaragua, I now have been confused as to who is better ...

To me it honestly is a tossup, especially since 24 has started to become really cliche/predictable this season.
 
A good question. I really like both of the characters. However I think in the end Jack would be the winner. I mean look what he has done for country. For all of his hard work he was disowned by the governement but still comes back to help out with a new crisis. Only to be asked to leave again after the canisters have been recovered.
 
I don't know. Vic is just hardcore, but on the other hand jack did shoot a prisoner and saw his head off once... Tough call but I voted Vic.
 
Man, I'm so screwed today. I just found out they're doing a 24 mini marathon on A&ETV this morning and I can't stop watching and get working.

BTW, Vic would own Jack cause his morals are a little more loose. He'd be willing to go that extra mile.
 
Jack Bauer plays the role of Capt. America (gimme a fkn break, no one does what he does)

Vic plays the role of a strike force (believable)

LOL ... in the episode of S2 i watched last night, he arrested this spanish dude and took his picture while he was in the cell. instead of say "cheese" to the guy, he said "quesadilla" ... which isn't even cheese in spanish, but a tortilla wrapped around cheese. that was hilarious.

There was an episode last season when he was trying to muscle some info out of a pedophile and says "hey, you got something against pubes?"
