The P4X800 will use DDR II ECC memory, while the P4X600 will support dual channel DDR 266/333 ECC memory.

has far has I know, via is going away from the number mean something to meaning a series. SO while it may initialy mean something, later on in the series it wont mean. Kind of like intels naming convention for chipsets.
 
Duh! Sounds peppy. 2x the bandwidth is what current P4 systems desperately need. The question is... when the DDRII will be out. Hope it doesn't take em too long. Looks like a worthy upgrade option to me from the DDR266.
