Hey everyone, I have a quick question about KT333 motherboards. I want to know which
boards out there support the 166mhz FSB speed? I want to run both the memory and the FSB
at 166mhz since I have an unlocked T-Bird 1.33ghz. I want to run the CPU at its stock speed
of 1.33ghz (Maybe 1.4ghz) I just want to increased memory bandwidth. I read on Toms Hardware (The KT333 review)
that the MSI KT3 Ultra supports the 166mhz FSB rate. Do any of the other KT333 boards?? Is anyone running
at 166mhz FSB? Are they stable?? Thanks for the input!

I have an epox 8kta+ and my unlocked 1.1t'bird can run at 7 x 166 using plain ol cas2,5 crucial memory running at 166mhz. I also have a athlonxp 1800 which is currently running at 12.5 x 133 but is locked and its a pain to unlock it.

are you saying you just want to overclock the fsb to 166mhz? or are you saying you want to run the fsb at 166mhz while keeping the rest of the system in spec (meaning the agp/pci bus are still 66/33mhz)?

No boards do, although many will run at this speed.

You should be able to do that, just lower the multiplier to 8x.

Well, I would like to run at 166mhz FSB and keep the rest of the system in spec. I know the ASUS Nforce board always runs at 33mhz PCI bus. I read
on Toms Hardware that the MSI KT333 board has the 166mhz FSB option. I assume this one has the dividers necessary to run at that speed.

Not quite true the iwillxp333 supports 166mhz fsb, the kt333 are just capable.
