VIA K8T890 + VIA VT8237R = Asus A8V-E Deluxe

This seems to be a good board I think I might get it.All though, I don't see to many people talking about it I wonder Y? Any ideas?

Would it be fare to compare this to Nforce4 Ultra?
-the biggest diff I see is the A8V-E only has 2 SATA ports. No big deal to me , that should be all I need.

What about OCing. I might try a little . Does anybody have an idea on its possible capability's.

I am tired off waiting for the next best thing. It never ends.:disgust:

That's a nice board, but I'm not even looking at Via solutions until they come out with the new southbridge chip that's in the works. Also, I need to wait a while to upgrade as I have a high dollar AGP card in my current system that I need to get my money's worth out of first.

Why in the world would they only put 2xSATA on this board it makes no sense since the standard for High end boards now are 4 but then they add WiFi-g ??? I'd rather have 4SATA instead. Even the board I have now the K8V has 4. I was waiting for this board but now I have to pass it up because of that since I have 3 drives. Way to go Asus.
