Ever since I have installed Detonator 3, windows sometimes fails to shut down correctly - I think that it may be the VIA AGP driver. is 4.03 the very latest?

Are you using Windows 98? Have you downloaded MS's shutdown patch (look in their knowledge base for it)?

Does this problem you mention only happen with certain motherboards & OS? The reason I ask is I`ve no problems using Detonator3(6.31) & Win98 os1 on the MSI K7T PRO board, btw I`m using Via 4 in 1 4.24 drivers.

🙂

This was a problem with det 6.31. Try 6.47 and the problem should be solved. Also use latest Via AGP driver 4.03e

This problem is normally associated with Win98 SE and having more than one hard drive installed. The patch from Microsoft fixes this problem.
