This happens on some boards - incl ABIT - haven't a clue why (maybe quirky BIOS) but it does not affect Windows.

Jacky7084400: Yes, Windows 2000 does support VIA drivers/chipset.

Absolutely, I work only on Win2000
just install the Via 4 in 1 Drivers V.4.29 for better stability
