I currently have a epox 8kta2
I have a promise ata 100 contoller card where i have all my hard drives plugged into. So there no problems there. Everything about that is fine.
I would like to know if there is a program that can test hard drives to give me an idea if there running at ata100. (Yes drives support it)
But my problem is with the ide onboard, I currently have
Pri master=Kenwood 72x
Pri Secon=Aopen 16x slot dvd
Sec Pri=plextor 12/10/32a
And thats it on board. I haven't installed any bus master drivers and everything seems to be working fine. Do to all the problems with win2k with bus master drivers i'm alittle scared to install them. So i haven't. Is there a way I can find out what modes all my stuff is in. Meaning as far as pio mode 4 or udma. Just wondering what my drives are at right now.
