VIA 4in1 Drivers?

Hi everyone, I have an Abit KR7A on the way from newegg and i was curious about the opinion on the use of Via drivers for both XP and Windows. Someone told me that you should use the native drivers on the cd and stay away from the VIA Drivers. Well, i know how well native windows drivers have performed for me in the past (very poorely). Anyone have an opinion on what to use?

thanks

The native XP 4-in-1's will work just fine. If you like loading the latest/greatest drivers & patches, then by all means load the 4.37's.

I have the 4in1's that came with my MSI KT133A board installed. Works perfectly fine, stable as. Will I see a speed increase installing the 4.37's?

what are 4.37's?
i have a kr7a also. i'm having probs with a slow harddrive. i'm thinking it's something in the bios. i installed the 4in1 and george's patch.
should i do something different?
