VIA 4 in 1, Can I install...

Hello,

I installed the VIA 4-in-1 package last in May, I believe version 4.30b or something, I noticed 4.32 final is out now, can I just install this over what I have now? Or do I have to remove the old ones?

the via install screen itself tells you (in the instructions you can scroll down on) to remove the old first

According to VIA's own 4-in-1 FAQ...

"Q:How do I update my system with newer 4-in-1 drivers? Why should I?

We will periodically make newer 4-in-1 drivers available as new operating systems and chipsets are released, and new issues are uncovered. Simply install the new 4-in-1 drivers over the current ones to update the drivers."

I've always just installed over the old drivers with no problems at all.

Thanks, I will first try installing overtop, then punch my monitor off my desk if it messes things up
