Via 4.30 beta 4in1's... Stabilty ?? Performance ?? Please post results..

Hey guys, about to upgrade to the 4.3 beta's even though I finally have my MB working semi-good, and my burner functions... Anyone find a difference in stability ?? Memory speed ?? HDD speed ?? Please post any differences you found before and after install if you like... Thanks !!

If you already have the 4.29 finals, no reason to change. The only difference is the install program which now allows you to UN-install the IDE driver.

I haven't tried the 4.30s yet, but I have the 4.29s right now and I can tell you that everything is working fine.

Am currently running 4.29 finals as well.... But you know the itch to update, especially for things as buggy as these damn drivers !!!

The drivers for the 4.29 and 4.30 are exactly the ame, the only difference in in the actual install/uninstall portion of it. The drivers themselves are the same.

what are the via drivers? I have a old computer with socket 7 tyan mobo via. Will this work with it?

If your motherboard has a Via chipset u should be ok to go with the 4in1's.

I'm running the 4.30's now and don't really notice any difference, my systems running rock stable with these new drivers.
