So I just started the process of putting old family VHS movies on my computer and then eventually on DVD. I did a few which at first glance seemed ok, but then i noticed that the audio doesnt sync as the video goes on. At about 10 mins its almost a 1 second difference between lips moving and sound coming out.
Is there a program that helps you fix this?
Im currently using Cyberlink PowerDirector to capture the videos as AVI files. should i be using something else?
Also im sure my capture card has alot to do with it, its a older K-world piece of garbage (wont even work in vista/7, makes me lock up), so am i better off just investing in a better one? my only worry is that im gonna have the same problem with a new card.
Not to mention every card out there has mixed reviews, all i want is a card that will let me hook my VHS up to my pv via RCA cables and rip these videos.
Let me know what you guys think.
