oh stop it MrK6 Balla has no dignity left

he's so devastated he'll probably claim he was trolling all along or say "u mad!?"

lol at this cheerleader...

Why cheer on a guy who cheats so badly? Ohh look at me I can disable tess and fake my results! Go you.

175 MHz increase resulted in, lol, get this... Wait let's first start with 900 to 1125, and figure out what kind of scaling we'll see with a 225MHz overclock...

So for 225MHz, a 25% clock speed increase we see an increase of:

Test 1: 16%
Test 2: 16%
Test 3: 16%

Ohh imagine that.

Now let's look at 1125 to 1300, a lesser increase of 175MHz or 15~%.

Test 1: 18% increase over 1125

Wait a minute, a greater performance increase, for less of a clock speed increase, how does that work batman? Let's see what happens next!

Test 2: 35% increase over 1125

lolwut?!?!

Test 3: 48% increase over 1125

Wow the 7970 is so impressive with tess it actually INCREASES in performance the more you add!

Wait, so first I wasn't using the right AA mode (even though you neglected to show which AA mode you used), now I'm "cheating." You're really going to drag yourself through the mud on the way to the door, huh?

Who said I'm running 1300MHz on the core? The clocks are 1330/1775 in those runs.

vRAM speed increases compound with core speed increases when both are limiting factors, as seen here. Also, has it occurred to you that the rest of my system is significantly faster than whatever test system you're comparing? Or that I'm on newer drivers?

I find it funny that you somehow know all these tricks, but somehow you're absolved from any scrutiny. No matter how much ad hominem you throw my or anyone else's way, it's obvious your "30-50%" claim is completely ludicrous and holds no water. You can't even claim 10% in an NVIDIA-developed game. You can take any shred of dignity and quietly exit, or not. It really doesn't matter at this point.

Wow, you were pretty close, I got a "Cool story, bro" instead. :D

Nice find. And busted. LOL!

Like i said before, 6870 CF or gtx470 SLI will outperform the 7970 at a fraction of the cost and they are available ages ago. I am not even a Nvidia fan (amd user). Just stating the facts.

You should just do yourself a favor and read the thread. If you did, read it again. You just thumpsed up the guy who was wrong.

I was never wrong, this guy is a phony producing fake results. To his credit though I doubt it's from consciousness but rather pure ignorance that has led him here.

My comment was directed towards Air cooling, jo $700+ card wielder here went out of his way to "prove" that wrong by disabling features in CCC and using the wrong settings entirely while using a card that has an additional cost investment which was not what my intentions were meant for.

However I digress, I should have known the other guys performance @ 1125/1575 would be exceeded by 48% because this guy has the golden card. With the golden SB system, which puts the slow i7-970 to shame. 48% folks, simply can't argue with "facts".

I've seen you post this in multiple threads, but I have yet to see any proof. A single 7970 is faster than 6870's in Crossfire, but you're right about the lower cost.

What settings are you using on the STALKER benchmark? You only show the main screen so nobody can try and contest your assertion of 30-50% faster.

So, blanket statement with no preset conditions. When proven wrong, apply a set of conditions. When further proven wrong, change conditions, change stance and attack the poster. Roger. Seem your words apply, heavily.

The key to victory is changing the conditions to suit your needs.

There is nothing of value to be salvaged in this thread. A number of you should be ashamed of yourselves, and the infractions you receive should help reinforce that point.
