Cut Police and something like "Sure wait until some thug is beating you up and see who you call"

Cut teachers " How can you take from the kids "

Cut Sainitation " They slow down snow removal to protest" (Thats for NYC)

Cut Fire Department " Well people will die "

Medicare

Social Security

Defense ?

What can be cut? Without people bitching

Answer Nothing hence we are screwed

The only problem is, this program like many other govt programs, it is ripe with abuse.

As compared to what? The abuses of the housing bubble, "Qwnership Society" & foreclosure fraud? Patriot Act? Black Prisons & Gitmo?

Concentration of wealth and income are what's killing the US, along with the offshoring enabled by it.

I agree. The concentration of wealth in the federal government is killing this country.

Problem is the 2 biggest are SS/Med and Military. So cut the Military and you get the NO!!! Think of the soldiers. Try and cut SS/Med NO!!! Think of Grandma.

I be willing to bet we could cut about half from military and barely touch soldiers pay/benefits. i.e. contractors, over priced/late/unused equipment, to many bases and playing world police, etc... make up a lot more than people think.

Same with SS/Med. Let them negotiate for better prices, go after drug makers that break the law, etc…

As Stated earlier the Defense budget does have room for cuts. Medical disability and servicemens benefits just is not the place to do it.

SS/Medicaid has a place also, but we need to start with the abusers first and formost:
Families that make a living out of having kids, welfare for people that are capable of taking care of themselves... Not Grandma/Pa.
