VESA-compliant Displayport Cables (Barely exist)

Ugh, displayport... Couple of weeks ago my dual screen setup (1xDVI and 1xDP) started heavily artefacting. Initially I thought it was the videocard dying, but after disconnecting the second display that was connected through DP artefacts went away. Connected the second monitor using DVI cable so that both displays are using DVI now and everything is still good. This is the first time ever I have seen a video card cable dying. WTF, it's just a cable, sigh... What a mess this whole DP thing has turned out to be.
