When I hit my power button everything comes on, like my fans, CD-ROM's, lights and so on, but the computer does not BOOT. All the light on the MOBO are RED and I get no video out signal. When I hit the RESET button, everything comes on fine and I don't even get a scan disk.

Any clue as to why this happens? And why it only happsns SOMETIMES?

Thx

I have the same problem. I never thought of hitting the reset button, I flip the switch on the power supply. What kind of power supply do you have? I was thinking it was due to that, but I could be wrong. Let me know what you find out.

OK, mine is kind of close. If I turn off the computer via Start|Shut down and wait for a bit, when I try to turn it back on via the power switch, I get nothing. I have to turn off the switch on the power supply for 10 seconds and then back on. I hit the power button and it boot fine. I can do resets just fine. I can turn it off for 5-10 minutes and it will turn on just fine. But if I leave it off for more than 10 or more minutes, I just can't turn it back on with out flipping the switch first.

I have a Pro2-A and a Powerman 300 P/S
I have 'state after power failure' set to off (This cures the 4 sconds power on when you plug it in.) But I have tried all ther setting with no avail.

Whacha guys think??

I was running 1.8 and I uped to 1.9 to see if it was 1.8. I still have the same problem. They are at 2.2, but I really haven't heard any good thing about them, so I was reluctant to flash.....plus only a hand full of peeps are having htis power trouble.
