thats so funny everybody wants a tuniq tower and they sold out and you got one and running it without any thermal paste lmao!!!
What's even funnier (to me, at least) is that he's now arguing when he's told that he
needs thermal paste.

Wrong, just wrong. It all depends on which thermal compound they come with. This:
Arctic Cooling MX-1, which comes already applied on all Arctic Cooling heatsinks, is considerably better than anything that Arctic Silver makes.
Pfft, go read some reviews in closed testing that puts AS5 against others. AS5 was on top all the time. Although the difference was small, there was a difference in favor of AS5.
I don`t know if your just argumrntative by nature...but you obviously haven`t donw any tests using thermal the thermal pastes that ship with heatsink verses AS5....
I have compard AS5 to the thermal paste that ships with the Zalman 9500 and the the Scythe Ninja as well as the ThermalRight XP-120.....there was No discernable difference even after allowing for the burn in of the AS5.
The problem with all your arguments cmdrdredd; is they are based on supposed articles that you have read that have nothing to do with first hand experience using the thermal pasts or the heatsinks.
if you went back 6 months or more you would see thread after thread saying there was no discernable difference by many many proplr on these forums.
You would also find thread after thread saying why do i get lousy temperatures from the Zalman 9500....or from the Ninja or from the Tuniq Tower and I get better temps from various other heatsinks.....
Again it has to do with the fact the even though reviews are a good tool for making a purchase; they are no substitute for first hand experience.
There are so many variables from computer to computer there truly can be no BEST heatsink and again AS5 is way over rated......
I know its hard to admit your wrong but its good for the soul to do that once in a while!!
