Very odd problem. I cannot turn my computer on unless I unplug it for a few hours.

I have had this problem before, but now it seems to be really bad.

It happened a bit with my KT7-RAID now it is awful with my MSI KT3 Ultra.

Essentially, I turn off my computer and if I go to turn it on the computer won't boot. No fans spinning, nothing. I have to unplug it for at least an hour or so and then plug it back in before it will power up. I am guessing it is a power supply problem. It is an AOpen 300watt, it isn't one of the P4 compatable ones, it doesn't have that connector as it is a bit older. Has anyone experienced a problem like this?

It's probably a power supply problem but it could also be heat related (ie your computer cools down when it's unplugged which lets it start back up) or an issue with damaged/loose cables.

I don't think it is a heat issue. I have an MSI GF4 ti4400 and it is the coolest running of all the GF4s. I have a 7000rpm fan on my CPU and 2 blowholes right around the cpu/agp area. I mean, I can run my machine 24/7 for weeks on end.
