Very nice Case for $55 shipped. (300 Watt AMD approved)

This is one of the coolest cases I have run across in a while. The build quality is really nice... lots of VERY cool features. Fits a 120mm fan up front WITHOUT modification. Has fantastic front ventilation to feed the front fan (can't tell from the pics). The removable hard drive cages are really neat. They just release with the lift of a lever (has 2 seperate cages).

(4) external 5 1/4" bays. Rear fan as well as "SIDE" fan ready. AMD approved PS. in 300 watt. PS has on/off switch (very handy). Includes connection to motherboard for instant on control. Front USB (hidden) panel up front.

This is truly a "screwless" case. Even the side panel has release tabs. The PCI cards don't even need screws, as there is a nifty bar clamp that holds the cards in place. The front face plate swings away (no wires connecting it to case) for easy access up front if need be.
The CDrom/Burner/DVD drives just slide in and click in place. As does the floppy drive (no screws).

I actually like this better than my Enlight 7237 cases.

I will be buying more of these.

Check it out.

that seems like a great case at a really good price. Do you know if they have a FULL tower as well as the mid?

Check out the manufacturer link.... they look like they are serious about their product(s) and making a quality case for sale here in America. They really want to make a presence here, from the looks of it.

Not sure if they make full tower or not... but you can check out their site and see.

I am just really impressed with this case. The front ventilation goes half way up the sides on BOTH sides and is also open ventilated on the bottom of the front panel. Works very well with my 120mm front case fan.

Enough of my hype..... I am just really pleased with the case.
🙂

Just checked... and they do make server and full tower cases. Not sure where to go to get them. Perhaps if a contact is made to Newegg, they will start to carry more of their line.

The construction is very solid. I'll be buying more of these for sure. The manufaturers site shows the case that I bought with the "side" mounted fan as well. Although the case from Newegg, does not include the actual "side" fan and mount as shown, however the case from Newegg is side vented and has mounting holes for the "side" fan assembly. This "side" fan mount/assembly is very cool as it will point directly at the CPU area (good for AMD setups).

this is an excellent case, just bought it for the new rig I built. however I bought it for the $40 but it included the side case fan.

I actually started a thread about it in the cases forum. linkie

from there is a link to the case I bought with the side case fan and thing to hold it with. direct link to pic of side fan

it is by far the best case I've owned. better than the enlight 7237. excellent case temps.

oh yes the rig it encloses, with the stock powersupply

AMD 1700+XP
Shuttle AK31A
two hard drives on the bottom clip...have the front intake fan blowing right on them, and they are cool...have a 80mm exhaust fan in the back (wasn't included)
on that proc is a alpha pal8045 w/ 46.5 cfm fan. only 36 decibals. the side intake fan (with the filter included) blows fresh cool air into the heatsink's fan. its an awesome setup.

I'd definately get this case, not now though, I'd wait until they get the cases back that have the side fan (if they get them back that is)

in short, I love this case. get it, but I'd wa

side note, since the construction on this is very solid it is a heavier case. not too heavy though, took it to my last lan party.

interesting, this pic here from the manufacturer's site has a bar going vertical down the middle of the case. this bar was not included in mine. oh well, its not needed.

I just bought an Antec 1030 case from techonweb. This Evercase one looks decent. It would be better if they had notable resellers carrying their server cases though.

Couple questions:

Evercase shows front USB and front headphone jacks. Picture on Newegg shows only front USB. Which is correct?

On evercases web site I only see info on 80mm fans. What did you have to do to install the 120MM fan?

In the reviews on newegg one complaint is that the power supply is loud. Someone replies to install a resistor from radioshack. Where does that resistor get installed?

Finally: What is with all those closed/unclosed pictures in the case pictures on neweggs website????

Thanks!

Evercase shows front USB and front headphone jacks. Picture on Newegg shows only front USB. Which is correct? Newegg, there is no headphone jacks on my case.

On evercases web site I only see info on 80mm fans. What did you have to do to install the 120MM fan? nothing, on evercase's site, there is a included plastic holder for the 80mm fan that would hold it, I did not receive this from newegg. I did manage the get the 80mm fan on there though held on fine with two screws. there is a place for the screws of a 120mm fan though, I would've used one but I didn't have any on me.

In the reviews on newegg one complaint is that the power supply is loud. Someone replies to install a resistor from radioshack. Where does that resistor get installed? no clue, sorry, the power supply isn't very loud in my opinion though, I've had much louder powersupplys.

Finally: What is with all those closed/unclosed pictures in the case pictures on neweggs website???? Yeah, I think they went a little overboard, I just think they are stressing that in certain parts of this case such as in the top 5 1/4" rack, drives can be attached screwlessly. simply unclose the clamp, slide in, and close it.

Thanks! no problem

Talking about on plain case you guy are talking about....
I am using this coolcase (DY001EQ) & (KN009S) which i brought at my local shop for $85.00
usb on front and headphone and mic plug on front
I put put a p4 1.9ghz on the DY001EQ
and put a amd 1900+ on the KN009s
Run like a bueaty.

here is the link of the picture of the case.
http://www.futurepowerusa.com/products/cases/case_masquerade.htm

and combined with this cool monitor
http://www.futurepowerusa.com/products/monitors/mon_17df75b.htm

Kick ass system right...

The main reason I brought this monitor is because of the warranty and the looks.
5years warranty
3year call tag
2year no part and labor charges
Monitor break in 1-2 years for me so ..... I want some extra protection... If you look at bestbuy they like ask you need $$extended warranty$$ and keep asking you. well no thank you bestbuy..

I just built a system with this case...I bought it from newegg with out the PSU.

I love it...my only complaint is that the power button light was dead...oh well, my friend loves it anyway.

We installed the Soyo Dragon and the Smart card/USB add-on went right above the two USB ports that came with the case.

SO he has 4 usb on the front....too cool.

We mod'd the side for a chrome grill..looks great....and the 80mm on the back was mod'd for a 92mm...fit just fine.

His hard drives were installed right in front of the lower intake fan for cooling those off....too easy.

This case was fun to work with....🙂

i use to review cases for virtual-hideout.net I would have to say on a scale from 1-10 i say 7 on this case.

for the price you cant go wrong.

i use to review cases for virtual-hideout.net I would have to say on a scale from 1-10 i say 7 on this case.

so there are better cases? which ones, i'm kinda curious. cuz this is by far one of the most useful cases i've ever seen. i guess some of you may think that screwless bays are a gimmick, but i think it's completely awesome and would be very convenient for me.

I bought this case from newegg as well but I got it for $22 shipped w/o a power source, it was about a month go. It is a fairly nice case. I thought the power led was out also but it really isn't, it just isn't very bright.
