Here's what I would do. Take off the Zalman and clean the CPU surface with 91% isoprophyl alcohol (get it at Walmart cheap). Apply a small drop of ArticSilver5 in the middle of the CPU and spread it by wrapping your finger with Saran Wrap and slowly spread it so that a thin film covers the entire CPU top. If you are using the CoolerMaster Hyper212+ you must make sure you have installed the bracket below the CPU socket first. Place the Heatsink without fans attached firmly on the CPU and slowly install the retention screws until it is snug. Then install the fan or fans. I bought an identical CoolerMaster fan like the original to create a push/pull effect with2 fans. Align the heatsink to expell out the back not the top. Use a good diagnostic software to check temps. I bought a licensed version of Aida64 which reads all of the sensors and gives a variety of temps. If you are using all of your fans, your temps should be lower. I have my 2500k OC to 4400 and my temps never exceed 59C including BF3.
