Idaho is a weird place. Even if we give those teachers the benefit of the doubt and say they were trying to poke fun at Trump's wall, it's still a costume choice that they should have known would offend many. Casual racism? Probably. Lack of professional judgement? Absolutely.

And you know this how? It's certainly not been reported in the media. It may well prove to be true but at this point in time nobody seems to have a clue about the guy other than he's ex military, a former teacher and has a record of physically harassing women.

Ah, I see. The buzzfeed article. Well, certainly could be. Why he would travel to Tallahassee to shoot up one specific small yoga class is anyone's guess at this point and doesn't fit particularly well with far right wing or racist or misogynist.

Shoulda gone with slutty border wall...

The title of the story suggests that the "Mexican stereotypes" and the border wall were at the same school but from the body of the story it looks like these were two separate faculties and the "Mexican Stereotype" outfits were largely clean and colorful.

Border wall is clearly a "bad shoot" on the part of the staff and just plain dumb thinking. Wouldn't want those folks teaching my kids when they cannot perform basic critical thinking and analysis on their own Halloween costumes.

The Mexican outfits needs some more context, these folks weren't dressing up as some of Trump's "bad hombres" or anything, or partaking in some sort of subtext by pairing up with the wall teachers.
 
Since I'm a federal employee we are prohibited from anything that can be construed as politically motivated or insensitive to others.

Yes, strictly speaking we do not know the motive for the crime, though the incel angle is a good guess. I was simply replying on the issue of whether he was, in fact, racist or sexist.
