I've love to stick a window in the side of mine, but it'd look like hell with all the dust. I really should install some changable filters...

That PC in a Suitcase was something I was going to do. A cow-orker bought one of those cases for his network toolbox, and we decided it would make a sweet case for a PC. Even talked about mounting a laptop LCD in the lid of the case. I went to the store to get one of the cases for myself, and they were all out :(

The one with the cigarette lighter on the front is a nifty idea. I wonder if that actually works...

jahawkin, I think they're for the fans. It makes sense, but I'm just guessing here.

The Maxtor is the best, and the blue light in the other one looks cool.

I'm not too familiar with case modding....What's with the four switches that I see on alot of the rigs?? What are these for??

I'm going to guess that TripleJ is right here. Also, I think they hook up the neon lights up to switches, and possibly water cooling pumps, too.

Those switches are called FANBUSES. They modify the amount of voltage sent to your fans, hence varying speed, and above all, noise. Say you can switch your 12V 12CM Fan to 7V, reducing a bit of noise, say when you're sleeping. Some of them may very well control the neons.

For anyone wondering about the fanbus, there's a site for them and a really nice faq for the ones that want to build one for themselves.

fanbus.com/

Really nice guy by the way.
