i have this problem were firefox is automatically connecting to a proxy, even tho when i go to the connection setting and erase the proxy its connecting it, everytime i reopen it, it connects back to it! and i went to my internet connctions and it was connceting to a proxy, but i erased it and it did come back. now my IE works, but at start up, when it usally would take 2 sec, it takes like 15 sec, and says connecting to proxy in the lower left hand corner of the brower! i think firefox might still be affecting it because its the brower that refuses to not connect to a proxy. before this problem happend, i used Hide Ip Platinium to view a fourm, but i used for monthes with no problems! please help, im thinking about buying a new computer to fix this!

Uh, sounds like a network problem to me. It's likely that you configured something incorrectly, but not firefox. Anyways...try uninstalling Firefox and see what happens. Also, why would you buy a new computer? Worst case scenario, you would want to reformat.

This is not a "very big problem". -_-
