Vertical Sync disable?

it should be off right?

For benchmarking yes, but not while you're actuly playing games. With vsync off you might experience tearing, which can be very anoying, besides you gain nothing by having a higher FPS than your screen can handel.

The problem with vsync is that to stay in sync with you monitor the video card has cut you fps by 2 each time you drop below hte monitor sync...so let say..you play at 100 hz...but your game can reach the 100fps..then you'll always play at 50fps....not so bad..the real problem is the second you drop at 49fps....the video card will force you fps to 25 to stay in sync...and THAT is not welcome...

BFG10K I respect your opinion.

I usualy keep it to Vsync enable for gaming, what's your opinion?

Should we keep vsynch disabled or enabled?

I don't know for him but me I keep it on since I think the image quality is much better...but then...if my fsp drop below 43 (85hz /2) ..i turn it off to keep some decent fps.
