My AIW 9000Pro and Mag Innovision 17" LCD (analog only) weren't playing nice.

The vid card looked great on my CRT, and the monitor looked great on my GF4. But the two together gave these nasty vertical bands.

I could adjust the phase on the monitor and move the bands around, but the places where the display looked best caused the sharp areas to "sparkle".

But I found that if I set the video card to synchronize on Horizontal, vertical, AND composite, it worked fine. :Q

Just wanted to share in case anybody else ran into this issue. :D

ran into this issue on my microtek 18" and all the I needed to do was adjust the monitor so the pixils were lining up 1:1. if the screen is a little under sized I got blurry bands running vertically

I've seen that too... But in my case I run my monitor at 1280x1024. That's why I was so confused...

how were you able to sync it? was it within the video card driver or the display itself??
