version expired on my cd

I duno if I'm allowed to ask for help in trying to crack this software I have, but man, this thing is whack. Scholarware's Topscore Dental Admission Test (DAT) has something in it that ends its use after 6 months or so. 6 freaking months, that sucks! I cant for the love of me figure out how to "fix" this. When I open up the program it says "version expired." I tried going into regedit and changing date of installation, even version number. I even deleted those things in regedit and it still comes up "version expired." Any thoughts?

get a new version? perhaps they put that in there to make sure you update somewhat frequently so you're not working with old information.
