I liked the show too, I hope this gets funded, but I doubt it.

That was my initial thought, but they are almost to the 1/4 mark and the kickstarter only started 2 hours ago. I wouldn't be suprised if its funded by the end of the week if not sooner.

I was a fan of the show as well. I think it is because of the revenge factor. While I don't do that in real life, it is kinda fun to watch.

Why would they waste their own money on this when they can pass the risk off to people on kickstarter?

oh, and capital.

You're right, and when this movie flops...they wouldn't have lost anything.

This is why I don't donate on Kickstarter.

I noticed this is going to be a Warner Bros. production, interesting that its been years since VM was cancelled and they couldn't get this movie funded by a studio.

The show was cool...but as a movie, naw.

I see your point, but its not like people are getting nothing in return. For $35 a t-shirt and digital copy can be had near release date. Not to mention I would save the expense of having to get a baby sitter to go to the theatre.

i dont know why people donate for art projects. its incredibly stupid to do something like that, but people do it obviously! if they can get the money, why hate on them for it? youre not the one donating.

i think kickstarter is much more purposeful for new products that people want to bring to market. its almost like a shark tank for us regular folk...

yup, and because the movie isnt even made yet how do you know what youre donating for? youre basically throwing money at faith.

when people promote products on kickstarter, the item is real. its there and you know what it is. if you donate enough, you get that item in the mail in most cases.

i have a shop light im putting on there. $50 donation and youll get one in the mail. its pretty hard to go wrong in that situation...
