I can only imagine how crazy it was downtown today...oh well, maybe I'll be down there next time.

Just think a short couple of years ago you could've faced him in college ball at ODU of all places?

My brother-in-law was a freshmen pitching on the same college team and Verlander was amazing to watch even then.

But i gotta admit I didn't think this would happen this early in his career.

glad i got those signed balls and his senior roster card from college. looks like they may be worth something in my old age :D

awesome

Kinda like how Favre gave Michael Strahan the sack?

I love Favre but god was i pissed after that.... It takes so much away from the record. Just like just giving Verlander the last out would have taken away from his no no.

In other words no i wouldn't, but god do i wish Hardy would have got a hit with 2 outs in the 9th.

Enjoy first place Detroit. Indians are playing like absolute shiat.
how bad you ask? a pitcher with an ERA of 6 shuts them out.

At least you aren't an Orioles fan.

Verlander was not-so-special when he reported to Comerica Park for Wednesday night's game.

"I had a drug test," he said. "I guess that happens when you throw 100-something in the ninth inning."
heh, i never knew that rule existed.
