Verizon Wireless's Network

Can someone explain to me why verizon has such a TERRIBLE network... u pay so much... for what?? cdma is just not doing it...

Where are you?

I like CDMA because it allows me to get reception inside my workplaces. The types of labs I work in are typically built like bunkers, and GSM signals don't seem to penetrate as well.

I will admit that my experience with TMobile was that they were the least expensive and I had the fewest dropped calls.

Sprint was okay, their customer service was useless, and I'd get dropped calls but could call to get up to $5 of credit each month for those dropped calls.

Verizon is the most expensive and I seem to get the most dropped calls with them. Most of the people I call have in-calling, though, and it's worthwhile to me and them that we all stay with Verizon. If I left Verizon, I'd go back to Sprint.

cdma is a better wireless technology than GSM, so it isn't cdma's fault. more likely you just are in a place with sparse coverage, or a place with overloaded towers

Verizon has AWESOME coverage. WTF are you talking about. It's the only provider that has no problems picking up inside buildings in my home town.

verizon has a good network. i personally use sprint cause of the cheap data plan and the roaming agreement with verizon (atleast where I live) so its the best of both worlds.

My reception with verizon has been great. Whenever I go into the mountains by my house, I usually have service.

My service has been great until about 6 weeks ago. Now I'm dropping more calls, on avewreage a lower signal than before and am roaming in places that i never did before.

Serviec overall is still good just not as good, and it has been noticed by other verizon customers in my area.

Ditto, sounds as good as the landlines here (Connecticut). Also works great in NY, Vermont, and other New England cities, plus I get decent reception inside buildings. I'm extremely pleased with Verizion in my area!
