and ya, i know about the other progs, i have tested a few on my winmo phone.

Get a Pre or a Pixi, Verizon eliminated the tethering fee with those 2 phones to help move them.

unfortunate side of that is youre stuck with a pre or pixi

my work pays for a usb modem for me, so i dont really worry about it. i also have a proggy to do it in a pinch on my phone as well, but if i dont have a signal with the usb i doubt ill have one on my phone. i just think its bullshit to have to pay that much for so little. its 5 bucks cheaper than my 20mb conn at home, but im only getting 1.5mb at best. my isp seriously overcharges as well, im looking for a new one of those as well.
