Thanks for the heads up :). Should be a nice improvement to an already awesome phone.

I've got it on the Rogers version (same model as AT&T). The speed upgrade is subtle but noticeable, especially with Power Savings set off. Voice dictation is much improved, and Google Now is sweet!

Google Now is amazing.

My car wouldn't start this morning (push button wireless key), so I searched for the dealership via Maps and called them. After calling insurance to setup a tow I searched Maps for the nearest Enterprise and called them to see their rates. After hanging up, I went to Google Now to check traffic times to work, and suddenly I had two new cards pop up... directions and travel times to both the dealership and Enterprise.

Scary - but i love it. Tracking numbers, sports scores and schedules, local movie times. My other favorite, is saying "What song is this?" and it'll listen and report back the song.

Sure took long enough...

Does it still have the stupid wifi reminders?

Not sure about the stock ROM, since I've been running various leaked builds, but yes they are there, but you can turn them off if you tap the wifi option in settings. At least in the various Touchwiz based ROMs I've used.

I was asking about stock. I mean, for anyone remotely interested in mods its gotta be the first thing to go!

Wait, when? I have not gotten an update....

*Update, nvm, had to do it manually*

It is updating right now, does google now come up by double clicking the home button like s voice?

*Update, it does not, but you can follow the link below to use a program in the store to set it*

Do a long hold on the home button to bring up the recent app screen, press the google 'g' at the bottom middle. Not as fast as reassigning the double tap but not too bad.

I like the keyboard better. I don't know if it actually has better recognition of the keys I am hitting, or that the space in between the keys is actually having some sort of effect on my hand eye coordination.

I was using Swype Beta on my GS3 prior to the upgrade, but now that Swype is included in the 4.1.1 build, I've been using that version instead.

Updated my phone and haven't been able to find the option to turn on the bubble notifications that I used to get from missed calls and texts. Anyone know how to turn that on or is it removed?

A much faster way is holding your finger over the "invisible" settings button (left of the center home key).
