Interesting. Does this set the stage for a Verizon iPhone?
Interesting. Does this set the stage for a Verizon iPhone?
Yeah, I posted it out of excitement then saw that it was just an iPad+mifi unit. Meh.
It may indicate a level of cooperation between Verizon and Apple? Maybe testing the waters to see if Verizon customers want iOS device(s)?
I'm pretty sure it's obvious to everyone that Verizon customers want iOS devices, it's just a matter how far Verizon's willing to bend over for Apple for the "privilege".
I hope they are willing to bend over far enough to keep me as a customer when my contract expires.
I'm not really a fan of Verizon, although I have nothing against them either, but I hope not. Someone needs to show Apple their shit doesn't smell like roses.
Verizon has better coverage in the areas I spend my time then AT&T does, but none of the Verizon phones thrill me. In a hasty move I switched to Verizon out of frustration trying to jailbreak my 3g iphone. I got a Droid Incredible and it's ok. But I miss my iphone.
I wouldn't trade my Incredible for a platinum plated iPhone, but I also have an almost irrational hatred of Apple.
My only major beef with the incredible is the build quality. Compared to the iPhone (3G or 4G) it just feels cheap to me.
