Verizon Samsung i760 vs. XV6800

I looked at both phones today at a local VZW store and I can't decide which to get! The i760 looks cool and seems to have great features. I've read so many good things about the HTC phone though. What would you guys recommend?

Have a ppc6800 on sprint (sero). I'm not sure how badly Verizon locks up PDA's to prevent free apps/customization. If you can't customize the phone with some of the touch apps, the interface will blow.
