Verizon Phone

So what is currently is the best phone I can get under verizon? I don't want/need a blackberry or anything, but I would like to get something that can browse the internet over wifi, not sure if that's possible though. Anyone have any suggestions?

For internet over Wifi, you're going to need a smartphone. Blackberry, HTC Touch.

If you don't absolutely NEED wifi, the Voyager has a decent browser for a dumbphone.

Voyager/Dare seem to be the best.

Personally, I didn't need a storm, but I do love it. 🙂

The Voyager does not have wifi, and even though its an LG it does not have as nice a menu system as the AT&T LG phones.
Verizon makes them use their menu system and its relatively painful. The new LG Versa is supposed to break out of Verizons old UI. But it does not have wifi.

For wifi if you dont want a Blackberry I am afraid you will need an HTC. I believe its called the Touch Pro at Verizon and has a different name with other carriers. There is also the Samsung Omnia, which seems to break away from the clunky Verizon interface with its clunky Windows Mobile interface.

Is it me or do Verizon's offerings suck compared to others? They really don't have an iPhone type phone.

Sorry this isn't much help, but I'm wondering if it's just me that thinks their choices suck.
