Verizon phone reccomendations?

My wife's ancient cellphone is dying. I would like to replace it with something that doesn't extend our contract (buy off Ebay?). Very simple criteria:

-Verizon plan already in place
-phone call quality and reception most important (her business is in a quasi-dead zone)
-simple keypad with large keys a bonus (used occassionally by an elderly relative),
-physically small/slim size a bonus
-we never text, no data and very rarely take pictures with the phone

Any suggestions?
 
The LG phones from Verizon are simple, work well, and seem to hold up well. I've had a VX8600 for years and it still works great. I just bought a 5500 for my nephew and it also seems to work well.
