I don't think tablets will be as successful as smartphones, but I do think we need official support from Google before tablets really start doing well (Android).
Reading between the lines, and taking into account Google's collaboration with Moto on the Droid, I have a feeling it's going to be supported.
I think Google is out of the hardware game for the time being at least, ie: no "Google" branded tablets, but they'll lend their support & expertise to tablet manufacturers.
Moto needs to get a product out there, they have the "Droid" name recognition going, and can carry over some styling cues from it's phone lines (black, square, nearly sharp edges, etc)
If they throw in a couple of cameras, an SD card slot, etc, it'll be a great device, but as I said, they need to release a WiFi only version alongside the 3G...
I guess it could bring about a rennaissance and redesign of the European shoulder bag.
Yep, one of the funniest posts in an iPad forum I read was about a guy looking at shoulder bags, and another poster asked him if he was gonna buy matching shoes... I blew coffee out of my nose when I read it
