Hey guys on. My rezound is having some issues and I've been offered a Galaxy Nexus as a replacement. Should I do it? Which is the better phone? Thanks in advance!
Rezound is a better phone but they are in the same league overall.
The Rezound screen is a 4.3 inch display at that is non pentile; it's a ~342PPI SLCD. The front and rear camera on it are far better than the Nexus cameras(had the best camera of all Android phones until the Galaxy S3 and One X came out). MicroSD slot and simultaneous voice and data over VZW's 3G also.
Nexus devices age slower than anything skinned, easily outlive contract phones. Rezound won't get anything past ICS while the GNex is likely to get another major upgrade with Android 5.0.
Here's what I'd do:
1) Swap Rezound for Galaxy Nexus
2) Sell Galaxy Nexus
3) Buy Galaxy S III off of Craigslist
Hmmmm......is there a noticeable upgrade from Galaxy Nexus to GS3? From a glance seem the screen quality and camera is a bit better with the trade off of worse software support. Thoughts?
