Verizon fIos Router Problem?

So about a week ago we had a bad thunder storm and it took out our router, within a day or two Verizon sent someone out to replace it. However, ever since they left and the install was done, the internet constantly drops out. Generally it is only momentarily but it is annoying nonetheless. I tried using just a wired connection, that didn't fix it. I tried using a wireless connection, still nothing.

I have been running a constant ping to the router, and one to google for about the past hour or so via the CMD prompt. Once I am done with those, how can I tell which is causing the problem?

Sorry for the double post:

And most importantly, how can I fix it so it does not continue to happen? Because I work from home, I manage websites for people as well as design / create them. And I also do live-streams of things like Borderlands 2, and I play online in general a good bit when I am not working.

The Router lost 12% of the packets, and google lost 15% of the packets. And generally when google lost them it was the exact same time that the router lost them as well. So I take it, it is the router?
