Verizon FIOS, i tested 70mb down, 73 mb up at work today.

i'll get you guys links tomorrow.

at work my FIOS connection tested out at 70 mb up and 72 mb down.

but i just started working for Verizon FIOS, so that's probably why. 😉 not capped at all, it is only limited by the server you are testing with.

I'm very happy with my 20/5. Their new guide system rolled out around here within the past few days. It's...interesting. Don't know if I like it yet.

hehehe, i'm happy with my 5/2 fios at home.

but it was really cool seeing it test out at 70/70.

5 ms latency.

it was FAST.

If you work for Verizon FIOS, can I shoot you a PM to ask a question?

np

but i just started on Monday and am in training at the moment.

training for 7 weeks, but i will be on the floor soon as a Customer Support Analyst.

i do know one thing tho, verizon is looking to release 100 mb / sec bandwidth very soon and are currently ramping up for gigabit broadband.

which is just flat out crazy.

exactly, the guy that sits behind me in training worked for Comcast before starting with Verizon. comcast can't come close to touching the kind of bandwidth fios can offer.

Passive optical network.

Too bad verizon is behind the technology curve and will have to replace all their optical gear to move to gig.
