Verify Android Version?

Is there a way to verify which version of Android is really installed? Not just what the device shows to be installed in case it's spoofed.

^^ I'll look into to those later.

On the OT thread ( https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/so-is-this-a-tech-site-or-what.2578990/ ), people are telling me I should have 9.1 Pie. But I'll still uncertain as to other performance issues.

It's supposed to have 6Gb/128Gb. I added several Gb of music and the remaining available space changed, but not by the same amount. In the player, I could see the new tunes and playlists. I had some other music on an SD card and installed that thinking both groups should be available. They were not. The SD card lists replaced the native memory lists and I could not find them in the player at all, only in the File Manager.

Also, in Settings, the Storage display changed to the card and would not show the native memory in the same bar graph detail. I couldn't find a way to change that behavior even by setting the Write location.

There are just a whole host of other issues that make me wonder what it really has and if it needs to be returned.

And this confuses me further:

If the device only shows 4G and not LTE, does it matter? That article implies it does not, but others seem to say it does.
