Verification of Anandtech's Geforce 2 GTS price

Has anyone *actually* found a Geforce 2 GTS for sale for $111 at AccessMicro.com? When I saw this price guide my jaw promptly hit the floor. However, I have not been able to verify this deal.

Yeah, I'm looking for that right now and there's not a place on the web with a GTS for under $160. I want some of the crack these guys are smoking more than the video card now...

Could somebody on the Anandtech team please explain how one goes about getting a $110 GTS????

PLEASE???

It's probably an error on either Accessmicro's site or on the reporter's part -- that price sounds right for a MX card, not a GTS.

Accessmicro sold refurbs and RMA's for a while, but usually they've got 1 or 2, and make a fuss about it and ruffle some feathers. But GeForce 2 GTS 32MB versions for the $150 mark is EASILY done. As are Radeon 64MB Versions @ the $155 mark. Just need to know where to look.

Haven't seen the Anandtech piece, but I can explain the price: too late one night, two weeks ago, I searched on "geforce GTS" and ordered one for ~$114 from AccessMicro. A few minutes later, 'noticed I'd ordered what ELSA calls a "Gladiac MX 32MB AGP GeForce2 GTS".

Compliments to AccessMicro for graciously cancelling my order. I presume Anandtech's polling made the same error. I suggested to AM that they remove the "GTS" from their product description, but they aren't likely to as it's ELSA's name for the card.

I still haven't bought a card: now I've acquired a 21" monitor (2040u] and keep wondering if a Radeon would really present better 2D on it as some reviewers say. I loathe the thought of eternally waiting for ATI to fix their drivers, however.

I saw the ELSA GLADIAC MX 32MB AGP GEFORCE2 GTS SDR RETAIL on AccessMicro.com for $114, too. Is this the GeForce2 MX or a lower performing GTS? If the latter, is it worth paying 25 clams more than the MX? Searching PriceWatch.com, I saw several MX cards for about $90, including AsusTek, Inno3d, eVGA and Jaton (who?!?). Whuddya think?
