Thanks OP! I'm in for 4 packs.
Is there any reason to get the 8x version of these besides speed? My burner can only do up to 4x so the extra speed wouldn't matter any way but are the 8x more reliable?

I believe the same discs that were rated 2.4x were capable of up to 8x.

these are verbatims dual layers. won't get any better than them.

Well, I snagged 4. My price was $63.

DL media is still expensive, but I can handle about $1.55 per disc with their own cases. Especially considering they normally go for $2 or more each.
